Sri venkateswara is also known by the names of govinda, sri nivasa and balaji. tirumalai venkateswara temple is famous for worshiping lord vishnu as venkateswara. according to the hindu mythology it says that lord vishnu appeared here to ave the man from the obstacles of kaliyuga so that the deity also known as the name of kaliyuga prathyaksha daivam also the place is famous as klaiyuga vaikuntam. tirumalai venkateswara temple located at the hill ranges of tirumalai in chittoor district of Andhra pradesh state. this kovil is showing the excellence of dravida style of architecture.

Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala is the richest temple in the country all over the year. it is also one of the ancient temple in the country, garbha griha is the sanctum which i is used for placing the main deity. the idol of the main deity sri venkateswara is in the standing posture which facing to the east direction. it is also known as the divya desmas which popular as the holy land dedicated to lord vishnu. There are three entrances to the temple which finally leads at garbhigriha.

The whole structure is three storeyed one. ananda nilayam is the main gopuram of the kovil. visitors are strictly prohibited from entering to garbhagriha. Brahmotsavam is the main festival hold here which lasts for nine days usually falls in october, during the festival day kovil becomes more colorful with some special events. nithya kalyana pacha thornam is an every day festival hosts here. laddu is the prasada of Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala.
