This is a set of four temples including thriprayar, koodalmanikyam, moozhikkulam lakshmana temple and payammal sree sathrughna temple. the four temples are for the four brothers rama, lakshmana, bharatha and sathrughna in epic ramayana.nalambalam journey start with thriprayar sreerama temple.temple is located in thrissur district, Shree Rama Temple is Hindu temple situated in thiprayar in Thrissur district of Kerala state in India. The deity is Shree Rama and with four arms with bearing a conch, a disc, a bow and a garland. The temple is situated on the bank of river theevra.There is an image of dakshinamoorthy, in the sanctum facing the south.

Location

The temple is administrated by cochin devaswom board,before that three illams owned the temple they are cheloor illam,manappilly Mana & Punnappilly Mana.the sub deities of the temple are hanuman, dakshinamoorthy, ganapathy, ayyappa and gosala krishna, the purayar is the name related with the river theevra and hence this place got the name thirupurayar and later it named as thriprayar.meeen oottu is the main offering of the temple,there are many fishes in the river devotees give food to the them and make them happy it is believed that that fishes are the pets of the lord vishnu,people suffering with asthma coming here for the relief.pooram celebrated in march-april and ekadashi in november-december hosts here during the month
