Thiru adanoor perumal kovil is a popular vishnu temple located at thiru adanoor near kumbhakonam is a popular vishnu temple has a great significance, this is one among the 108 divya desams. this temple also known as bhargava kshethram temple is a three tiered architecture which built during the period of chola emperors. the prim deity lord vishnu is in reclining posture in the sanctum. there is n idol of kamadhenu in the temple,which is the holy cow mentioned in the hindu mythology. it says that kamadhenu worshiped lord vishnu here. the idol is not a huge one.
