thechikottukavu ramachandran lifting thidambu during pakal pooram festival at thirunakkara temple kottayam. there are 22 elephants participating in this temple festival. Pooram at thirunakkara temple usually coming in march/april months. we have updated the 2018 date for kottayam pooram here, it’s happening on Tuesday 20th march. elephant show, kudamattom are some of the highlights of this fest. Gajaraja Vismayam, Aalthara Melam, Kuda Maattam, Vedikkettu etc are included in this event. Thirunakkara Sri Mahadeva Temple, Kottayam is the venue and it’s happening at 4.00 p.m. thechikottukavu ramachandran is the star of the show, we can check the names of other elephants fro here.
