Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple is a site popular as one among the jyothirlingams in india. the prime deity of Mahakaleshwar is lord shiva. it located at ujjain in madhya pradesh. the idol of lord shiva as shiva lingam is believed that a self manifested one or the swayambhu.
