Kudala Sangameshwara Temple is an important pilgrim center in karnataka which dedicate to lord shiva worshiped by the community belongs to the people of lingayath faith. this is a wonderful structure has the evidence of old century, this is not only the pilgrim center but also the destination for knowing more about the history of india and chalukya style of architecture. kundalasangameswara temple located very adjacent to almatty dam, this is about 15 km away from the spot. this point is a rare fact by merging of two rivers krishna and ghataprabha river and flows to srisailam to Andra pradesh. lord shiva worship to the linga form here, it is believed that the image of the shrine is the self manifested one also called swayambhu linga.

Kudala Sangameshwara Temple is an example of wonderful art and the carvings. ganesh and nandi are the sub shrine sin the temple compound. also the separate installation for navagrahas. the doors of the sanctum carved of the images of animals and flowers. The holy Samadhi of Lord Basavanna, the founder of the Lingayat faith is found here. the annual festival conducted here every february 15 to march 15. shivarathri is celebrating a grand way every year here. basava kranthi festival is another one celebrate heere which is usually falls in january.

There is a huge auditorium in side the temple which has the facility for seating more then 6000 people, it is called sabha bhavana as It is easy to reach at the destination via road. kundalasangama located at bangalkot district of karnataka state. direct bus services available from bijapur and banglore. the nearest rail head located at bijapur is about 90 km from the spot. the nearest possible airport is at banglore in the state having the distance 450 km.
