Karpaka vinayagar kovil located at pillayarpatti of tamilnadu state, the prime deity of the temple is lord muruga which is rock cut cave temple, the rock cut images of lord shiva and muruga are the prime attraction of karpaka vinayagar kovil. this is one of the ancient temples in south which built during 4th century by the pandya kings. the prime deity installed in a cave which is 6 feet carved. it has two temple towers and a grand vimana. it says that the devotees who pray to karpaka vinaygar will get wealth and prosperity. the main deity is installed in the form of padmasana.
