Kadambuzha devi kshethra is a popular devi temple mainly dedicate to goddess parvathy, the consort of lord shiva. it focused in a small village called kuttipram in malappuram district. the feature of this temple compared to other hindu temples, there is no idol for the sanctum so that it become unique. muttarukkal is the special rituals performed in this temple. muttarukkal ritual is only performed in devi temples, this is the process of breaking the coconut, it is believed that the coconut break up into two equal halves will clears the obstacles of life. it takes place only in mornings.

Kadambuzha devi kshethra is administrated and maintained by Malabar devaswom board and there is following the strict rules prohibit plastic and other pollution sources. there are two main rituals performed in the temple. as there is no idol the rituals takes place on a hole which has 12 meter radius, according to the hindu myths it says that lord parvathy disappeared after showing his presence to sankaracharya. according to the hindu legends there is a story relate here relate with mahabharatha, pandava prince arjuna prayed to lord shiva to attain pashupathasthra, lord shiva and parvathy were impressed on his devotion. it was the [place where arjuna offered prayer to lord shiva

Poomoodal is a main ritual to goddess in kadambuzha devi kshethra to fulfill the wishes of the devotees, chethi flower is commonly used for it. karthigai day of vrichigam month is the special occasion hosts in the temple. thirur is the nearest city to connect by buses. tirur and kuttipuram are the nearest rail heads. both located at a distance of 18 km. calicut international airport is the nearest possible airport at a distance of 35 km.
