Ekambareswarar Temple, Kanchipuram is famous for the 10th largest hindu temples in india, is located at kanchipuram of Tamilnadu state. this ancient temple is dedicate to lord shiva. the biggest gopurams are the star attraction of Ekambareswarar Temple in kanchipuram. it is believed that the temples was built around 600th AD by the rulers of pallava kingdom, later chola dynasty gave a great contributions for the temple. the huge entrance gate is about 172 feet high was built by Krishna devrayur belongs to vijayanagara kingdom.
