Dwadasha jyotirlinga temple is one of the largest temple structure in karntaka located in omkar hill regions in banglore which is the highest point in south india. jyothirlinga are the holy place dedicate to lord shiva all over the country. lord shiva in the temple worshiped as omkareswarar. Dwadasha jyotirlinga temple is very unique one compared to other shiva temples, it is believed that the single visit in the temple will clears all sins of human and it will leads to the moksha. there are 12 jyothirligams installed in the temple and the sub deities are vidya ganapathy, kalabhairava, chandikeswara etc are along with the twelve jyothirlingams.

Dwadasha jyotirlinga temple is not an ancient one which is open recently for the devotees. this is one of the gigantic temples in karnataka. there are total twelve jyothirlinga which made from stones of river Narmada. under each and every jyothirlinga 1008 small narmadeswara lingas exist here, that means there are 2008 small Narmada lingas installed present here, but 12 if them visible for the devotees. vana durga is the mother goddess present at this hill regions it also called vana durga, placed on open air. there are installation for naga devatas are alos, male and female naga devatas placed under the neem tree.
