Balasubrahmanyan kovil also known as murugan kovil vennaimalai, it located at karur in tamilnadu, as usual other murugan temples in tamilnadu it showing the excellence of dravidan style of architecture. three tiered gateway tower is the highlight of the temple and which is very huge in its structure. the gate way leading to the sanctum. balasubrahmanyan kovil is one of the ancient temples in india which built 1000 years back. there are separate installations for the parents of lord muruga shiva and parvathy as viswanathar and visalakshi respectively. it says that the famous shaiva saint arunagirinathar was once visited here. the temple architecture is very amazing view.

Kruthika star day of tamil month karthika celebrates as a grand festival at this temple which is usually falls in november or december, thai poosam is also this is the mass festival in all other murugan temples, as usual thai poosam in january or february is the main event of the temple which lasts for 15 days. diwali and pongal are the other annual festival host here. monthly shashty and karthiagi are also the special days at the temple. there are four daily rituals hosts at the temple.

Balasubrahmanyan kovil vennaimalai situated in an elevated position, so that it must need to climb the steps to focus at the destination. the sacred water source occupying along with the temple known as thenu theertham which occupying outside of the temple. meals providing for the devotees daily by the temple authority. bus services are easily available to the temple it situated 5 km from karur. the nearest rail head is karur. the nearest possible airport to the temple is trichy at distance of 86 km.
