Baijnath Temple – dedicate to lord shiva near to Beas valley, Himachal Pradesh

A holy blessed land located away from palampur in beas valley is popular for the name of lord shiva as Baijnath, which is the town in kangra district. Baijnath Temple is dedicated to lord shiva is an ancient temple in india built during the beginning of 13th century by ahuka and manukya was the two merchants in early years. Baijnath is the place of Himachal pradesh popular as the name of this temple. The idol of lord shiva is in the swayambhu form exist in the sanctum of the mandir that has five projections on each side which surrounded with a tall shikhara.

The entrance to sanctum is through a vestibule that has a large square Mandapa in front with two massive balconies one each in north and south.
